About The Collaborative Space

Founded by Natalie Wild — CEO and Founder of Redefine Life and Collaborative Spaces

Collaborative EAP was born from lived experience and professional insight. After leaving a toxic workplace where there was no access to Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) or awareness of psychosocial hazards, Natalie Wild recognised firsthand the deep impact that unaddressed workplace strain can have on individual wellbeing, productivity, and community connection.

From that pivotal experience, Redefine Life was founded — built on the belief that mental health support should be accessible, responsive, and respectful of both people and business realities. Over time, through continuous collaboration with clients and counsellors, and through observation of where life experience and research intersect, the model evolved into Collaborative EAP — a modern, ethical, and flexible approach to workplace wellbeing.

From Experience to Evidence-Based Practice

Each stage of Collaborative EAP’s growth has been guided by:

  • Real-world insights from individuals, families, and workplaces facing psychosocial challenges.

  • Alignment with contemporary research on burnout, workplace culture, and psychological safety.

  • Commitment to bridging gaps in Australia’s mental-health and EAP systems — particularly for small-to-medium enterprises and community organisations.

Collaborative EAP reflects Natalie’s vision of an ecosystem where employees, employers, and counsellors work in partnership to create sustainable mental-health outcomes.

Our Guiding Philosophy

At its core, Collaborative EAP honours three simple truths:

  1. Every employee deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported.

  1. Every business deserves an affordable, flexible, and compliant wellbeing framework.

  1. Every community thrives when workplaces prioritise connection and care.

Through these principles, The Collaborative Space EAP continues to redefine how workplace wellbeing is delivered — bridging the gap between compliance and compassion.
